I'm pissed this album confirms he can flow exactly like he did back in the day. He can make that classic Em sound. We only got a glimpse of it on this project. It's crazy. Someone tell this white boy to make an album full of Castle, Arose, Framed, In Your Head, Offended, Believe, Remind Me (with a different non rock beat), and Heat (with a different non rock beat), Believe, and Tragic Endings. An album with those and more like that would be nearly a classic.

I don't see how people are saying songs like Castle and Arose are better and more powerful than Deja Vu.

I remember when Deja Vu was deemed one of his greatest songs ever, to being "overrated"(Thanks, @Koolo) to being underrated now.

You people forget just how important that song was. Castle and Arose were great but we've been there and done that. With Deja Vu we got an explanation for arguably the biggest artist of all-time's bizarre fall off and 4 year disappearance. That was THE song where we learned about the Christmas overdose. It was literally jaw-dropping when we heard it the first time. It's far more iconic than these songs that will be forgotten sooner than later.

There is nothing, NOTHING as memorable as

Revival has so many current events mentioned for Em. Anna Nicole line is the only real non relevant line. He obviously rushed this album out in the last year or two. f---. Four f---ing years as a fan .. and you get the black power trump bashing recycled rapper . .. I mean where’s Trevor? What happened w the promo.
After 2 weeks the flaws are starting to stand out while listening. Believe is great and a few others but dammit.
I was expecting different but it will do for now. Wonder if he will release under Paul’s new label w some new s--- sooner than later..?

Someone made a thread where they can hear eminems voice change in "Arose" when he says "..if things should worse, I bethcha they wont" and i think they are 100% right. Its quite obvious when you listen to it a few times. sad if that really was added on to an old verse
