I get where you’re coming from it would’ve been better to say the story was told better with those other songs I guess idk but, saying those songs said what this one did but better makes you come off like someone who’s just trying to be edgy like people saying “you think f---ing with me because you sold like 300 thou”

The lyrics on Heat are horrible, how can they call this "heat"

"Checking you out, like the clerk"

"I'm going to keep it 100, like my speedometers at" (would've been better said, I keep it 100, like a fever, or something like that)

"I got to meet her, like a taxi, love affair in the backseat"

"Grab you by the (meow), hope it's not a problem in fact
About the only fact I agree on with Donald is that

Don't snap, it's supposed to be grabbed
Why do you think they call it a snatch"

I just bodied the beat, so that hoe must've been dug
Cause it just died like "ooh, food coloring, duh"

It's like his mind is stuck inside a 20 year old just learning how to rap.

Arose covers a lot of the same things as in Deja Vu and GTC, but I don't see it as a rehash. In GTC, for example, he only touched on his experience in the hospital, without giving us all of the gritty details, whereas in Arose he takes that event and makes a whole song about it. So for me GTC is like a narration while Arose is more like a movie.

I really didn't like the album at first, but it was quick to grow on me. I honestly reckon Believe is the best track he's put out in a decade. Framed, castle, tragic endings, arose, were also good.

I did a cover to the first verses of Believe and Framed for people to check out. Pretty s-----y audio quality on my phone, but I'd like to hear what people think/what I should improve on.

Ok let me just put that flawless, impressive concept of Castle & Arose aside and actually talk how Arose is better than GTC or Deja Vu. Yeah, Deja Vu was great. intro made with Mr. Mathers (skit) it was a great song which detailed his fall and things happened when he was in hiatus. But it wasn't any detailed at all. It didn't had that very intense emotion. Not even gonna talk about GTC... Arose detailed that hospital bed scene, he visualised it so greatly that I almost felt like crying. I never felt like crying while listenin' to Deja Vu or GTC. Arose had that very very emotional story and delivery.

Already said it before and gonna say it again. Castle & Arose are definitely the best songs since he came back.
