    True.

    The Revival Interlude made me remember how powerful a skit on his albums can be in segwaying to different tones too.

    The interlude is used very well to segway into Like Home... even though Like Home should not sound anywhere near right when you've just heard what you've heard up to that point, but it does - due to that interlude bridging the gap musically. It works.

    Unfortunately they then f----- it up again by just going back and forth with 50 tones after that.

    I made my own 13 track version of Revival and I'm enjoying it a lot.

    12. Arose



    A good sign is that I can't pick a favourite song. A few days ago I was certain Believe was my fav, now I'm hooked on Like Home. Not a perfect album, but EASILY the best body of work Eminem has released since Recovery.

    Not a bad track list at all. Those are all the ones I like too, except add in Offended as well. Offended is good besides the HORRIBLE chorus. But yeah, we're about on the same page of songs we like.
    But enjoying 11 or 12 out of 17 songs quite a bit really is pretty solid for an album. Just Eminem we have such high standards we want to like ALL 17 of them haha.

    Sadly I can't get past the beat and the chorus on Offended. Verses are pretty good tho.

    True.

    All he's said is s--- like 'this is where I'm at' and 'something for everybody'.

    He's weirdly disconnected from the album, yet weirdly happy within himself, he sounds happier and more present than ever.

    My theory is maybe he considers this album fan service. Maybe after thinking about a style / sound for ages, he decided just to do all those styles and think he's delivering something for fans of most types of his s---, thinking people would love it for that or each little fan subset would, and he made peace with that idea rather than it being an album for him, so he's just happy he's doing that.

    ...I dunno. All I know is the album is bad and I want a new one.
