    Yeah, Revival puns are more so just lazy. Just like eye-roll and simple construction "like this" "like that" etc.

    But Recovery puns are horrendously bad writing. Some of the ones on Won't Back Down are like "wait I need to pause the track a moment to process how bad that is" type bad. The fact he says 'I'm that man' about writing more 'compact' punchlines, then goes ahead and writes a thesis build-up just to pun 'combat / calm bat' was a staggering lack of self-awareness. Some of his worst writing ever.

    Revival is terrible fam, there's nothing good about it. both got bad lines but Eminem sounds very bad on his new album. he is not a witty anymore. at least Recovery showed he had something left to prove. and anything with Pink or any other pop singer is garbage.

    Untouchable is the greatest song of this decade. It's honestly genius. So many layers. Only Eminem has the balls to pull something like that off. This album is such a breath of fresh air from the everyday mumble rap

    MMLP2 had songs like Bad Guy, Rhyme or Reason, Rap God, Brainless, Love Game, Headlights, Evil Twin, Baby, Groundhog Day, Beautiful Pain, Wicked Ways. Even the worst songs on this record were infinitely better and Eminem esque (with the exception of STIW) than the worst on Revival. I'm amazed how underrated MMLP2 is here on the forum, while the general consensus would rate it as well as Recovery or perhaps even better, while people here be rating Revival his 3rd or 4th best album lmao

    Also, Recovery aged like fine wine, even the lows on Recovery are bearable now. Revival seems just so rushed.

    And SSLP is easily his 3rd best album, stop debating

    How do people always rank SSLP so low? I know some people who rank it as his best but on this board I see some people putting it fourth or even fifth. What the f---? He was another level on that album. Rock Bottom, Brain Damage, As the World Turns, 97 Bonnie and Clyde, Still Don’t Give a f---. Those songs alone s--- on anything he did after 2002. It actually shocks me the same person made Revival.

    The people mixing eminems songs need to be fired. Its embarrassing the way some of his songs sound like. The biggest rapper in the world and hes sounding no better than a sound cloud rapper
