    I think he's realised that 1. Shady XV and Southpaw got lukewarm reaction and 2. The world needs to be dehydrated and thirsty for Marshall before he drops the next bombshell.

    We actually don't KNOW anything for certain.
    Both Royce and Porter have been avoiding the question by saying that they don't know what he's working on.
    We've had some hints from different sources, about producers and artists working with Em. Last in line was Desiigner (secondary source), and before that Mike Keenan.
    There's also the fact that we haven't heard anything for quite some time, which serves as a hint in itself.

    Lookin forward to Yela's new single he's been cookin up some heat...Phenomenal and Southpaw meant a lot to Em and then he was on Compton so I understand why it's taking some time for him to release anything...anything at all...He's strategic in his next move ...a lot has been goin on money has been comin in and it's easy to get distracted or be a recluse in the studio perfecting the material letting ideas flow, recharging on motivation, seeing things differently, meeting new ppl, hearing new beats, soul searching etc
