    Well if it has anything to do with COD I hope any songs made for it are bonus. Survival was the worst song on MMLP2 and had no place being on the actual album.

    Why's that? The beat? The chorus? I don't see anything fundamentally wrong with the verses on a------. Your definitely not alone, a lot of people said it's the worst track which I never understood so I'm actually curious. I'd say it's average and one of the less enjoyable songs, but at least it fits the theme of MMLP2. Survival is just a random "They doubted me, but I'm back, never give up!" Recovery sounding leftover directed towards 12 year old boys. It sounds so out of place. The beat and chorus are horrendous and so many corny lines. Not to mention the sole purpose of its existence was to promote a f---ing video game.

    "I'm not a rapper I'm an adapter, I can adjust!"
    "I'm stabbing myself with a f---ing knife in the gut while I'm wiping my butt!"
    "I just sneeze but then go at you and achieve!"

    I feel very strongly Survival has no place on an album titled Marshall Mathers LP 2. Survival, Stronger Than I Was and The Monster should have been switched out for 3 bonus tracks.

    So if it's slated for November, any chance we get a single next month? MMLP2 was released November 5th and Berzerk Came out August 27th.

    While I'd prefer Shady Records to avoid the dated two and a half month marketing campaign, it would be dope to get new material soon. Very curious to see how he changes his style up. In that NY Times interview last year he was very aware of the criticism he was getting for his flow/delivery.

    He's gotten criticism for his flow/delivery since Relapse (or maybe Encore?). So short of finding his 1999-2002 styles, he'll get criticized regardless.
