I'm just hoping he does a laid back flow and delivery, something similar to The Warning. He changes it up every album, but I think it's time to take it back to a style that's worked.

    1. Weekend, Xzibit, Dre, Kendrick, Redman, and Elton John (no Rihanna) maybe Jon Connor and a real Tech N9ne collab
    2. Dre, Bass Brothers, Luis Resto and DJ Premier (No Alex Da Kid or Boi-1da)
    3. Unbound (no clue??)

I hope Em goes smooth, emotional, gets greater production, and leave the s-----y technical rap for Royce.

Zero faith in him at this point.

Excuse the long post, but Eminem has always had so much material and potential over the last few years to make a classic, but he plays it way too safe.

But, here's what I'd want from a capable Eminem (which is a stretch).

This is all assuming he somehow rediscovers his normal delivery and flow..

    Production?

Dr Dre/Bass Brothers. These two allow it to sound like an actual cohesive Eminem album.

As much as Relapse had it's faults, and Encore did as well, the production on both fit Em's style better than Recovery/BME/MMLP2.

    Hooks/Choruses?

I'd rather him go back to writing and performing his own choruses, with as less singing as possible.

I seriously don't liked his singing, except on Hailie's Song, because it wasn't something he did a lot at the time.

I don't find him to be a good singer, unless it's low pitched. His high pitched singing is really, really bad.

    Content?

Don't mind the same content about his mom, Hailie or Kim. Just be innovative with them.

A song about his dad. There are so many different ways he could make this song.

Conceptual song. Maybe something from someone else's point of view. Maybe Hailie's view of him and how he treated Kim, or how her friends must ask her about him, or the lyrics she's heard? Who knows. I'd like something outside of the box. Maybe not even about his personal life at all.

Stop reminiscing about your past. I'm tired of him rapping about how controversial he was. Either grow some balls and take on some of the controversial of TODAY'S society, or TODAY'S music, or don't even talk about it. There's so many subjects to choose from today, you could get at least 3 songs alone from the amount of s--- going on in the world.

Or, if you are going to rap about how controversial you were, why not make a song about the perspective of the people you hurt, not including your family. Maybe rap through the eyes of a school shooting victim, or abused woman... Idk, someone who views your music as something that brought them pain.

Maybe a love song, maybe a break up song, maybe some lyrical songs, idk... I'm sure he'll have some generic song. All I ask, is that they're produced well, and he raps normal on them.

    Features?

I'd really only want 4 featured songs. One with 1 or 2 legendary/OG rappers. One with someone he's familiar with. One with modern rappers, and one with a singer, whether upcoming or popular that could produce a hit.

Legendary/OG: Jay Z, Nas, Redman, Methodman, Rakim, LL Cool J.

I'd prefer Nas over anyone though.

No songs with Slaughterhouse.. They always end up a jumbled mess.

Familiar: Xzibit, 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, Obie Trice.

New age? Kendrick, Drake, J Cole, Weekend, Big Sean, Mac Miller, Joe Budden, Aleesha Cara, Kanye West.

    Title?

The Eminem LP (way too late for this, and The Eminem Show was essentially that).

I'd take Roots, Redemption, or E.

Normal voice and smooth flow is a must, no fast stop-start choppy s--- is wanted.

Features: Nas, Big Sean, Kanye, Elton John & Ed Sheeran.

Production: Eminem, Dr. Dre & Bass Brothers

    Album title: Nothing Mathers :emoji_ok_hand:

Now if we can just get Marshall to see this thread......

No it's all wishful thinking imo. He's not gonna put half as much personal stuff into his songs anymore. He's past that chapter, and I entirely understand why. Anyone who wants another classic is entirely expecting too much.. It's not happening. When this new album drops (sometime next year) please stop holding it in regards to his older s--- - just listen to it for what it is lol

I'm scared, that's all. His latest albums have been so disappointing. Despite all of that, there's always that childlike hope for Eminem that comes from the fact that you listened to him when you were fourteen and admired him so much as the first rapper you ever listened to. :emoji_heart::emoji_broken_heart:

He probably already has it, and laughing at our hopes of it being phenomenal, no pun intended.
