    right, but even considering it being highly hypothetical, crooked would technically be right because statistically 2017 Em has better chance of winning.

    Both on wax, and in a URL/KTOD style battle, 2017 Marshall is sober, mentally/technically sharp and has more personal dirt on drug addicted, 2002 Marshall. 2017 by default would win in any scenario.

    I'm always one for defending current Em and have consistently said he's got better lyricism/wordplay now, but battle rap is different & prime Em would thrive in that environment

    Not to sound like a straight up Eminem apologist, but I think the biggest problem is that a lot of you all compare his current music to his first three LPs. Just enjoy his newer music for what it is.

    Can't believe the hate on here today haha. Wtf has happened?

    I'll admit I prefer his old s---: the flow and production especially. The thing I don't understand is some people are pretty much hating on his album before we even have a title! Em hasn't 'lost' his flow. Every album he tends to try something new to an extent. He hasn't lost that flow that we all love. He probably just wanted to try a different direction. What's to say he won't go back to that old style again? As I've said you can't loose that skill and natural ability to flow at ease like he did. Don't knock it til you've heard it. I for one can't wait for it!

    As for the battle, 2002 Em would win. 2017 em would be like "f--- the beat I go accapella" haha
