f---, those days of Koolo leaking s---, golden times. Just between Recovery and h--- the Sequel it was popping, Em was buzzing for like a year. Even if a lot of the material was trash (Love h--- the Sequel Though).

I remember I need a doctor leaking, and how poorly mixed it was, we were all saying it will sound better if they ever release the mixed version. Then they released the official version and the mixing was still awful haha

Honestly, whoever mixed Relapse (Dre? Hard to believe) should mix his next album. Seriously, that s--- is the most clean album I heard in years. Shame all of Em's post 2003 album content is so hit and miss. Liked 70% of HTS, 50% of MMLP2, 50% of Relapse, 25% of Recovery. Pretty much nothing from Shady XV(Fine Line, Guts over Fear) and Southpaw (All I Think About).

I remember my crazy stan mode re-listening to the G.O.A.T snippet, to the point when I re-listen to the song years later I remember exactly where the snippet would cut out and get shocked the song continues.

f--- there was some poverty level rhyming from Em, still, his delivery and flow was so on point you could replay it over and over.

iirc Mike's been with him since TES & had an extensive hand in most of the mixing on there and everything since then with the exception of Relapse where it was mostly Dre & Veto (but even on there Mike Strange had a few creds)

It's Eminem that's at fault. He's been very hands on with his mixes since the Forever incident -- apparently he sent his verse to get mixed by 40 and the beat was changed on the final mix w/o Eminems knowledge so since then most of his work is mixed strictly in-house now.

I think the only outside people he's had mix his s--- since then is Alex Da Kid, Jim Jonsin, Just Blaze, and Dre with his guys Vito & Focus.
