    I think it's clear at this point that the soundtrack was definitely scrapped so he could release Kamikaze.

    nine times outta ten Rubin ends up producing the best work in an artists discog.

    but his famous "hands off" approach to album making is a pretty bad idea when he leaves it to Eminem & Paul Rosenberg of all people. and then when he does get involved in the music he just grabs an instrumental of a popular song, often unchanged & just tosses it to Eminem, where he then raps about s--- & diareeha.

    it's better they don't work together again, ever. i don't think MMLP2 & Revival are his two worst albums just by sheer coincidence.

    Rubin's performance on Revival was pretty good tho. I guess he did Arose beat which was perfect for the song and Remind Me which was again a great beat in my opinion. I love that song they sampled anyway.
