Jul 2, 2021 I'm feeling some hints of early Em (I just don't give a f---) scattered throughout that single. Not the worst thing I've ever heard, I guess.
Jul 2, 2021 They continues to sign rappers with no commercial appeal. They obviously don'tneed the money but Shady Records must be losing alot of money with all the artists that have flopped since 50. Shows you how bad a label rep/manager Paul is.
Jul 2, 2021 I You know what bro you are right. Em and Shady absolutely played no role WHATSOEVER in boosting Griselda's popularity. Silly me for EVER thinking that happened.
Jul 2, 2021 Not sure why you’re being such a pain in the arse. You were wrong, accept it, you’re making it a big deal for no reason. They were popular before Em signed them, they were making big waves in hip hop. Of course signing to Shady helped them grow, but they were succeeding & gaining traction without the label on their maintained output & would've continued building their platform without Shady. They’ve only put out 1 project on the label & most Em fans don’t even listen to them.
Jul 2, 2021 Hm. The effect on his vocals was kinda L O U D, not sure if I liked it. Not the worst but not the greatest first impression
Jul 2, 2021 I think since SH and Yelawolf it’s really more like that em just want to give rappers he like some more buzz. It’s not like he want to bring out the next super star. his first single under SR is not my cup of tee but let’s wait and see what he can bring to the table
Jul 2, 2021 Never heard of this guy but that Gutter track is cool. Why would anyone sign to Shady in 2021 tho
Jul 2, 2021 He's gonna get payed and Em fans loyal, so his streams will be looking way better than they did. But then only a few Em fans will care and he will be asked about Em a thousand times in every post and interview until he gets dropped.
Jul 3, 2021 Em fans dont listen to em signees like they used to. Eminem used to shout out d12, obie, 50 on like every single track, h--- same with stat quo, bobbycreek and cash's for that brief moment before the hiatus. Hed put them on his albums, feature with them regularly, bring them along for interviews. They felt a part of the em canon, which is why shady records actually felt dope in the early 2000s, that shady/aftermath shout was cool because it actually felt like a roster Yelawolf and SH were signed during eminem pop s---, so they werent touched on because em was too busy working with pink and sia. Why wasnt boogie or griselda even on any of the 4 albums he put out after signing them? A casual em listener might not even know they exist, so the shady records boost is essentially non existent
