Jul 1, 2024 I get that, just think that he's running out of those kind of names. He's making a slim shady album, with most of them not fitting the style, probably bar Lil Wayne. Ye does his experimental church auto tune stuff now. Jay wouldn't fit it post 4.44. Nas would feature, but he'd never fit that cartoon/horrorcore style. And yeah Snoop would, cos he'd do anything for a buck, but 2024 Snoop is s---. Think that's why he sways to the generation now, who are dope but have the deep respect to do any song Em wants to do. I was unsure about baby Tron and I know Sean can come a bit low energy, but if the doomsday thing turns out to be true, I'd love to see JID and Denzel on it. I think an old school that would fit well would be Killer Mike.

Jul 1, 2024 I agree about SFTM, and Cleanin' might be 01 too. But early 01, which is still MMLP era Em in my book. MMLP/DN era you might call it. Hailie's Song too, I think. It's harder to place others like White America, Soldier, and Sayin' Goodbye but if I had to guess I'd say mid to late 01.

Jul 1, 2024 Yeah they all bring something different to the table but still gel really well as a group. I think it’s just Eric’s sort of animated style that appeal a bit more to me, like him completely spazzing out on the Never freestyle lol. Funny though that the ”freestyles” are better than the album was (imo), but looking forward to hearing the next one!
Jul 1, 2024 I'm down the middle with it. When I hear 50 Cent, Xzibit, Dre, Snoop, a part of me loves the sweet nostalgia. But if be lying if I said I'd been excited about a verse from any of those people since like 2005.
