Only Eminem fans and people that check for rap music in general are aware of Eminem being more active on social media, and only we know what that might mean because we follow every move Em, and people close to him, make. But for him to beat Adele, he'd have to promote the album the old fashioned way for at least 2 months. Building hype, releasing the album cover, maybe the tracklist, A SINGLE WITH A VIDEO, an interview, snippets.... something more substantial.

Oct 5, 2021 He could have posted the album cover yesterday, and add something like *INSERT SINGLE NAME HERE* OUT ON OCTOBER 8. *INSERT ALBUM NAME HERE* OUT ON OCTOBER 10. And that alone would have been huge. Maybe not enough to beat Adele, but at least it would have put everybody on alert and create huge hype.
Oct 5, 2021 Eminem always takes an idea and runs it into the ground. Shock-value, accents, punchlines, cringey punchlines, acapella freestyles, doubles/triples, supersonic speed and of course: Surprise albums. Which obviously aren't that surprising anymore.

Even higher if he drops a video the next week. Surprise album way means whole album will be out of the charts in 2 weeks. Or at least most of it.
