Jul 2, 2024 I thought CDs and LPs only counted in the first week sales of they were physically sold. Pre orders where they ship AFTER the release date do not count anymore. Maybe I'm wrong and they are getting them pressed just now in tim for next week but if not it seems like a lot of sales and money lost. All the other big artists have their CDs and LPs available on release day. No need for them to come out weeks and months down the line. Wouldn't any of you like to go and physically buy the album next Friday in person and hold it in your hands?
