Jul 2, 2024 You guys need to calm down. You have a song that will likely complement an overall album direction with no beat drop and pure rapping. This song would likely get fewest repeats on the album from casuals and they release it as a single with video to give it more spins/streams.. Going to contribute to his sales numbers for a song they think works well on an album, but less of a standalone. Smart from a sales perspective, honestly.
Jul 2, 2024 like 8.5/10 probably, it isn't my favorite or top 1. but it isn't based on the average score of all the tracks, it's what the album represents for me and how great it is and how amazing the best songs on it are. when you can count on songs like Sing For The Moment, Cleaning Out My Closet, Till I Collapse, Soldier, Square Dance, Superman, White America, not sure what's people's opinion of Say Goodbye Hollywood but it's as good as Soldier to me, Without Me, Hailie's Song and Business a bit lower, the rest of the songs can be even 6/10 without affecting the quality of the album that much
