Jul 2, 2024 em would get cooked, you understand this right? not just by kendrick but the whole culture
Jul 2, 2024 "how rappers I already ripped are higher on the list on me" Say it! Say their f---ing names Marshall! Quit being a p----!
Jul 2, 2024 Holy s--- They all killed it This is atmospheric Convinced a classic dropping next Friday
Jul 2, 2024 Wow, can’t believe Eminem mentioned me again. First he said “roo” on Houdini and now he says “ripped” on the second single!!
Jul 2, 2024 Trying to understand the logic on this as a single even if they always intended to have it on the album. Decent song, but seems like generic subject matter, nothing mind blowing that would generate massive hype, doesn’t seem to be directly related to what we know about the theme of the album, and very different in style compared to Houdini. Was it just to represent/showcase Michigan rappers? I think Houdini and the teaser yesterday will carry the hype for the album, but this just seemed like a missed opportunity.
Jul 2, 2024 d---, this song gets a lot of hate on here, you tube Reddit, etc. It feels like back then with Untouchable.
Jul 2, 2024 Lol that was such an implication of Jay z. BC who else does anyone put higher than him, other than jay z or Nas, or Pac or big.
Jul 2, 2024 Either that or... Since it's late on the album, I got a feeling he might be shady initially, then Eminem kills shady at some point like half way or something and he becomes Eminem or some s--- and this is an em track
Jul 2, 2024 This is embarrassing referencing the devil, and the goat in a song that portrays no demonic level of talent. I'll wipe my a--- with this song! The rest of the album better be Houdini style
Jul 2, 2024 I kinda hate his flow in the second half of his verse lmao. Old man is trying to cram words into rhyme schemes again
Jul 2, 2024 Rumor has it Cole Bennet left it off the album cause it was no good. Em found it, got Baby Tron and Big Sean on it. Those 2 had an argument about who's gonna tell Marshall his s--- is wack. They ended up not saying a word and sending their verses. And that's the story behind this single.
Jul 2, 2024 Houdini f----- everything up, if this had come out first I would have been like "oh ok, a new "new em" album, whatever, I'll see what songs I like when it comes out" but after Houdini? this s--- is disappointing af, not that it's untouchable levels imo, it's just mid and forgettable but I thought the standard had gone up a bit and he was locked the f--- in to release something much better than what we got lately (and I like Side A a lot) Still, this could be the worst song on the album and I hope it is (It'd be the best worst song we've gotten in years, modern Em can do much much worse) but this being picked as a single kinda bums me out for what's coming, Houdini was picked too I know, but realistically I'm looking at another mixed bag coming and I hope I'm 100% wrong
Jul 2, 2024 Yes it was TES voice and his stupid rap cramming in one rofl. Atleast it seems he's getting out of it. I'm hoping it was recorded months before the rest of the album. Eminem is known to wake up, have an ephiphany, and change his whole style, overnight
