Jul 2, 2024 I was mad as f--- on the first couple of listens (mostly considering we came from Houdini as the 1st single) so I gave it a 4, had to bump it up to a 5 after listening to it again now, not that it's growing on me but it's that middle of the road "I'll forget about this track" type of joint rather than something I would consider terrible Still can't comprehend why they picked this one as the 2nd single, especially a throwaway from a mediocre album but that's besides the song itself I guess
Jul 2, 2024 I mean my main complain is just how short Em part is, but we are gonna get probably more than 1 hour of music in 10 days so I’m ok with that. Also Tron and Sean did amazing. Not what I expected but I’m happy with it.
Jul 2, 2024 Nah hardly new fam. Sounds similar. It all sounds similar, this for example is not a million miles away from say his vibe on From the D 2 the LBC, which was 2022. This is definitely the longest and most distinct lack of new style from Em. As in... mmlp to tes was pretty stark, musically, an evolution; tes to encore, he smoothened out... encore to relapse is insane... relapse to recovery is insane... mmlp2... revival not so much, just more of the same but worse; Kami... pretty nice switch-up, then he got smoother with mtbmb era and has kinda stayed in that zone since. He's never doing much new with his voice now. But, I don't really care if the content is new or compelling. But, something has to be. Can't just be rapping similarly, and about the exact same s--- as the past... 6 years obsessively.

Jul 2, 2024 My main complaint after a few listens is that it doesn't seem like an eminem song, I don't hate the song but you can tell it was for the lyrical lemonade album. So to me I dunno how it's gonna fit, but whatever don't gotta love everything on an album

Biggest shock to me was popping on Boxden for once, which I mainly stopped going on cos Em breathes and they say it's trash - to see 4 pages of people saying it's the first Em song they've f----- with in ages. Just trying to give some balance, cos there's a few who had been dreaming of some Dre and 50 Cent throwback or something - so think their disappointment equals how the song is perceived out of section 80.

Jul 2, 2024 I see what you mean. Eminem doesn’t normally rap on beats with minimal drums like this. There’s also not a whole lot in the verse that relates to the concept of the album. Plus, Eminem’s verse feels shorter than the others to me for some reason even though I know they’re all probably the same length
