Jul 2, 2024 this could've been named "Not a Slim Shady Album" for that matter and it still would have to be tied in some way to SSLP for having slim shady in the title. I think it's a pretty big deal and even the artwork in the teaser is a reference. idk. this track tells me it's probably going to be a mix of everything and different styles but it should be a modern version of SSLP at least in terms of vibes if not sound. Tobey sounds like it could fit on Side B
Jul 2, 2024 I mean, this isn't bad at all, but the subjectivity of music allows s--- opinions for the sake of balance. I was trying to give some perspective to people who expected him to hop in a time machine and drag all his associates through it with him. I wish he'd rap with some new people.. no not those ones. I wish he'd do a rapping single and not use pop stars.. wait, why are other rappers taking marshalls time? I wish he'd stop trying to prove he can rap good, and just make well delivered music he likes.. wait, why hasn't he got a 3 minute straight verse?
Jul 2, 2024 I'm more tired of the way he dresses. The hat and hoodie with tight fitted clothing. I much rather see him dress and act trailer trash still, to some extent, and not as formal. I miss the days of him being in a oversized suit, in court, being sued. I get that he's 51. But I don't know. Feel like he could still rock a oversized white T, and beanie instead of a hat
