Jul 2, 2024 Kinda love the song. Feel like if it was a feat on another album I’d rank it with Walkthrough Leaves me hyped, incoming classic
Jul 2, 2024 Probably yeah. I loved d---. And Lupe is dope. In fact an Eminem & Lupe track is long overdue. Although it's probably never to happen after Lupe humiliated Royce.
Jul 2, 2024 I want to say to all the people not investing much in Em if this album doesn't hit (@Chuny and @hargydon for example), good on y'all. Too many people hold on to hope or continue to s--- on something they don't enjoy anymore if it's long running and it's genuinely good to come to terms that something might not hit with you again the way it used to.
Jul 2, 2024 d--- is weird to me cause I love that album and it has some of my favorite Kendrick songs ever but I still think it's one of his weakest. Is there an Eminem equivalent to that for y'all? I was thinking maybe Recovery
Jul 2, 2024 After multiple plays this was clearly for the coke Bennit album . Is this 100 % confirmed for ems album ?
Jul 2, 2024 Not bad. Thread needs more Eminem edits tbh. Suggestion for improvement: remove the 2 cheeseballs entirely.
Jul 2, 2024 Absolute horse s--- . There’s even a cole reference in the song . It was clearly for his album
Jul 2, 2024 Definitely agree, it's weird for me because I still like ems sound even though I'm old. But if I didn't I wouldn't spend my day bashing the dude, there's lots of rappers I don't listen too much anymore cause I'm not as Into their recent output and that's fine s--- happens.
Jul 2, 2024 I'm kind of there too, if I had to pick a top 5 of my favorite Kendrick songs, most of them would be from d--- but it's not my favorite project right now, it used to be tho and if you want an Eminem equivalent it's The Eminem Show for me, it has probably my favorite songs but I prefer MMLP overall
Jul 2, 2024 I mean yeah, it's also obvious that this was a single cause a video was already in the works from Cole's album
Jul 2, 2024 We knew that before the release. The version of the song before Em got on it leaked the day after the announcement. Not sure if you caught that tbh
Jul 2, 2024 Thing is (and I'm probably in the minority here) I thoroughly enjoyed Kamikaze and MTBMB Side A & B. I love the three albums. They're very high on my list. So I haven't given up on him. At all. But it would piss me off to no end if he missed this opportunity of creating something iconic when the title of the album is already inspiring and there are so many incredible avenues he could take with it. Houdini was capturing what I had in mind since the Superbowl ad, so , to me it was like "FINALLY! WE'RE ON THE SAME PAGE". But now I'm sort of... confused because he has already misled us so many times.
Jul 2, 2024 After Houdini I'm never giving up on Eminem now. Tobey was trash but I am 100% sure this will be his best album since recovery, with 10% hope it's his top 4 of all time
