Jul 5, 2024 Yeah they do not sound right together. Neither do him and Skylar, despite Marsh thinking they're a match made in heaven. Skylar f---ing sucks. And he's put on her on every fkn album since Recovery except Kami, I wish to Christ he'd fkn stop. Wheras Em and Jessie Reyez... sound great. Also Liz Rodrigez... he sounds good with that kind of singer, kind of errie soulful vocals. Not fkn spacey, souless crap like Skylar. Just doesn't gel.
Jul 5, 2024 Well it was never going to be like a fkn murder mystery track to track lol. But, I think what some of us want is a story and a concept threaded throughout still. Doesn't have to be that literal where it's like 'Track 1: Who Did It!? , Track 2: On the Trail!' etc. lmao, actually thas even a bit corny. But, you can still have a concept without it being that literal and carry it throughout tracks and the album, and structure it... As opposed to just doing exactly what he always does and making a bit of everything = toxic relationship track, 'party' track, s--- talking track etc. and just threading them with a few lines here n there to the title. That's s---. But, I fear now that's probably what he's done again.
