Jul 6, 2024 I mean I understand that. I'm just not sure he has a relatable take on society. During his peak he wasn't far off from being a poor raw underground MC with a lot of turmoil in his life. Now hes a rich recluse. I still think this album has potential to be great. And I love his new music for what it is. I appreciate every second of this. But let's not have unreal expectations either. Lol

Jul 6, 2024 Yeah he's amazing. Used to listen to his old stuff a lot when I was younger, but haven't checked for his s--- in a while. One of the purest rappers to come out of England, his flow, passion and lyrical ability is levels above most. Unfortunately he was never very marketable and could never really create a great album imo. Also seems to sing more now which I don't like. Some of my favs from him over the years @Bostex Very Eminem like.

Say what you like about Eminems music but he has always sounded different and evolved his music whether that was for the better or for the worse. Nas has never tried to and sticks to one lane. He has sounded the same for like 20 years and his most recent projects all intertwine as one basically. Eminem has started to sound the same for like 4 years now and that is getting tiresome to hear now, Nas has done it for most of his career.

Jul 6, 2024 That’s not an excuse to why he should be doing it though. Like Base said, there’s infinite ideas he could come up with and not be so self-obsessed. Eminem has come up with one with TDOSS which is the title and theme of the album. So let’s see how he executes that, as if he does pull that off. Then we will hear new ideas and concepts.

Jul 6, 2024 We can’t say Eminem is making bad music because he’s reinventing himself, that’s just cope lol Obviously the fact he has different styles is what makes him unique but it doesn’t have to result in poor executions, even just the problems with sound engineering is ridiculous from the one of the biggest artists on the planet, that has nothing to do with him changing his styles.
