Jul 7, 2024 the song is called a------... the beat is purposely disgusting, and the hook is purposely annoying (you are just an ashooooooole, everywhere that you gooooooooo)
Jul 7, 2024 just gonna casually flex myself at the very front row of Glastonbury '22 watching Kendricks set: (you have permission to make fun of my small case of alopecia, it hasnt come back ever since fortunately)
Jul 7, 2024 Risk free is really what most rappers are doing these days. Albums are boring as h---, but there are no highs or lows and people say it may be a classic and never go back to it. Been like that for a while now.
Jul 7, 2024 Maybe it's me being an old head but s--- used to slap a lot more yeah there are still great beats but it's been a while since I wanted to punch a wall because of a beat
Jul 7, 2024 You’re right. Beats back then were more simple but very effective. There’s too much happening within a beat these days. Too many little effects sprinkled in here and there.
Jul 7, 2024 I've been listening to his old albums a lot recently. Part of what made his music so good was his crazy level of self criticism and honesty and openness about his life that related to so many. He talked about struggles in a way few had. And millions could relate to him. I can understand why he would be scared to have that level of honesty about his current life. For the sake of his kids. And also because he's not on drugs and is not mentally impaired by them anymore. But if he's not gonna have that level of introspection and just rehash the same topics and bland love songs he might as well stop or just rap about s--- with nothing to do with himself.
Jul 7, 2024 Best is anything but disgusting. It’s just not good and amateur hour with who ever made it, which was Alex Da Kid wasn’t it? No surprise.

Jul 7, 2024 Finally Ya’ll admit it the hook is nice and fits the theme, but Em just yelling some bs over the worst beat he found that day.
Jul 7, 2024 I’d be fine with skylar if her choris was like minimal (a line or two that take up like 5 sec) and the emphasis is put on em’s verses.
Jul 7, 2024 I expect a dope album with some awful features. Sean, Baby trans, that new kid he found, Grip, Walmart Kendrick. We are screwed when it comes to features.
Jul 7, 2024 It's different trends in different years. And it's where you were at when those beats came out. I got in to hip hop early 2000s, so I'll always like them beats more. But then they'll be some old head who was in their prime during Beastie Boys and will swear by it, or a teenager now who hears a metro boomin/modern kanye a lot, and cos of that thinks that a Timbealand beat is a bit basic. I think as far as Em goes, he's clearly branched out cos either he's not got the same confidence in his own production, doesn't feel like he has the time, or doesn't want to sound dated. But I'd definitely hope for some Em beats/Em assisted Dre beats on some of the Slim Shady songs, because no one understands his pocket better.
