He works on some songs for years so it's not different here. - the original version of Kim was recorded during SSLP - Say Goodbye Hollywood was done shorty after MMLP - the 3 new songs from CH1 were done for Encore - No Apologies was done for TES - Beautiful was from the drug era and not Relapse and most of you guys consider it a classic etc. I can go on until now. It's nothing new.
Jul 8, 2024 logic of delusional Eminem fans. Happens every roll out. Acting like he has this grand scheme going on. Then album drops and disappoints. By this logic of a concept both Tobey and Houdini would be part of that so called story. Or we are saying Eminem has decided to intentionally make two tracks that have nothing to do with the core concept of the album and released them as singles just to keep the real agenda hidden. People are just going off facts and evidence given so far. Houdini. Tobey which is meh. And confirmation of Eminem picking up an old left over Skyler Grey track.
Jul 8, 2024 All of your examples are of Eminem tracks in his prime. His new pattern of the past 10 years which he has talked about in an interview is to pick up tracks with beats/hooks already attached and write the material around those themes. He has publicly denounced Relapse as one of his worst albums. Stands by Revival as a good piece of art. Tobey was a Big Sean left over lol. Skyler is an unreleased left over. His pattern is continuing of just snatching tracks with themes already attached and writing to them. Will there be original work on the album? Yes. But also recycled work of other artists. There will be bad tracks such as Tobey and some good tracks. But high expectations only leads to disappointment lol. My expectations are that it will be an ok album. Some duds and maybe a couple bangers.
Jul 8, 2024 Laughing at people suggesting "it's not a concept album" after only hearing 2 songs from a 19 track album. Listen to how the whole thing fits together first before judging.
