Jul 8, 2024 I mean its Eminem. Even me who has hated 90% of his music since Encore still clings on to the tiny fraction of hope that he will deliver for us one last time. But yeah the more realistic option is basically what you just said. I cant see this being anything other than the usual mish mash of styles. Couple of tunes about him being the best, 1 or 2 about "old him" and a love song or two, And i expect a few more "feature songs" in the vein of TOBEY.

I see people thinking that. Personally, I think it doesn’t make any sense for him to go after Jay and Royce denied it. I think he just pressed his nose on the glass as a reference to Pinocchio. Rappers higher on a list than him is a lie etc etc

His singles are usually just like, lighter summations of the style on the album too, as in... if he's rapping that good on 'Houdini', and 'Tobey'... album quality should be insane. And rapping on both of them is stellar. Wheras Revival rapping was a--- from the start. And the musical styles, fkn Ed Sheeran River s--- and fkn... Walk on Water... nah. This is already levels above and better.

Jul 8, 2024 As long as this album is at least MTBMB/Kamikaze level I will be ok. Hopefully a little better. I will be ecstatic if we get even one or two songs that is a classic like Deja Vu/Going through changes level.
Jul 8, 2024 in terms of comparing it to revival im talking about the promo not being in any way related to the actual album, we started off with a detective like movie trailer and s--- went nowhere. If the album doesn't have a cohesive theme i will be very disappointed, prob with em is he doesn't really have much to rap about these days so a concept album would work great for him. if its a directionless album like revival after the first promo its just worrying
