    his worst/mid/not top tier albums are the ones where he's not in the cover or you can't see his face
    encore (turned around), mmlp2, kamikaze

    his masterpieces always show his face
    sslp (well you can't really see it but it's right there), mmlp, tes, relapse

    Revival you can see his face BUT he's hiding it in a facepalm. coincidence??
