Jul 9, 2024 Oh yeah, I agree with that. It's a fine balance as well between analysis and the video not being too long. Like, I don't want them to just sit through the whole song nodding, but on the flip side, some of these channels that do like 30 minute videos replaying bars like 3 times in a row love themselves a little too much.
Jul 9, 2024 Did I miss anything in the last few hours? Saw the cover at the time, seen there's a jelly roll and Dre post, saw someone talking about another fake tracklist?
Jul 9, 2024 What about Tidal though? Do stuff get released in a timely manner on it like on iTunes? Or is it like Spotify?
Jul 9, 2024 Definitely. He's had a few meh in a row, has taken some time, made an interesting concept, done a roll out of sorts. It doesn't have to be a classic, but if it's any less than good, then I think we've gone too far at too low a level, especially for the casual fans. If it doesn't hit the mark, then I hope he just does a few 'f--- it' projects that he's always wanted to do, maybe one last BME or an EP with Preemo, or whatever, then retires gracefully in a few years. If he does the good stuff here, it buys him credit to drop another big project if he feels like it. And also dusts off a bit of the meh from recent years.
Jul 9, 2024 If the album is as good as MTBMB I’d be pretty happy with it, hopefully better though obviously.
Jul 9, 2024 Nah, one and done. Shame though as would have been cool idea to drop them sporadically throughout the time of the announcement
Jul 9, 2024 I'd really like another Podcast like the one we got after CC2 in which Em explains how this was really conceived and tells little details about it.
Jul 9, 2024 That's why I typically use Qobuz. You can purchase individual tracks at like 24-bit 96khz+ etc
Jul 9, 2024 Maybe he'll actually remember stuff because of how recent it was lol Whilst I enjoyed it, it made me laugh how Paul had to guide Em through all the stories til he remembered. You can see why he only has people involved with him interview him about those days, because a mix of drugs and the first few years of recovery was clearly a blur for him.
Jul 9, 2024 Yeah but still Em f----- Paul up when he said something like "oh yeah there's enough material for a Relapse 2" even though Paul was desperately trying to steer him in a way Em would say there wasn't.
