Jul 10, 2024 They were too detailed to be fake. They listed writers for obscure songs that had likely been sampled.
Jul 10, 2024 This post is the closet, most accurate list we have of the production credits and samples. The above was written out and formatted based of this original list that was posted:
Jul 10, 2024 Didn't apple music accidentally post the tracklist early already? I saw it on instagram or Facebook like a day ago
Jul 10, 2024 Maybe the whole concept is just to say every f---ing outlandish cartoony Shady thing that's been on his mind and go all in to get cancelled by the woke public which results in the death of Slim Shady.
Jul 10, 2024 Now look what the stork brung, little baby devil with the fork tongue. …and it’s sticking out.
Jul 10, 2024 Evil Deeds. It's not the best by any means (that's obviously Mockingbird) but the way it starts after the intro just goes hard, the instrumental is dope and I love Em's flow on it. The self-awareness in the second verse is funny too.
Jul 10, 2024 In before guilty conscious 2 is recovery Em vs slim shady lp Em… WHY DOES IT ALWAYS SOUND LIKE I’M GRABBING MY NOSTRILS?
Jul 10, 2024 I love ENCORE. Like Toy Soldiers I think is a brilliantly made instrumental. The chorus in Spend some time is a bullet flying into my heart
Jul 10, 2024 There's a lot of features on this album but you know what? Maybe an entire album of the Slim Shady character would be too much and you need to break it up a bit. I just hope the features on here do the songs justice and bring something new and different to the table.
Jul 10, 2024 It seems like Shady "dies" sometime between Houdini and Tobey and we get a couple breaks with songs like Tobey
Jul 10, 2024 A while back, I made a post about everything that's happened in the lead-up to the first single. Here's an updated version up until the present day (July 10th): (Not technically rollout out yet BUT) March 6th-9th - A short series of animated cartoon skits are a throwback to SSLP to celebrate it's 25th anniversary. Within the one of the skits / promo pictures, playing cards referencing the 31st of May are shown. Some fans note that this is a Friday and could be a potential drop date. Within the SSLP25 merch there are 2 plain white t-shirts which cost $75. Again, fans note the cost of the two t-shirts being high and wonder if an album might ship with them. The packaging of the t-shirts coincidentally says "Slim Shady 2". The shipping date of the t-shirts is May 31st. March 19th - Dre announces on a national talk show that an album is coming in the summer along with a skit. 50 Cent, Dre, Snoop Dogg and Em all make appearances within it. March 22nd (3 days later) - Eminem posts a picture on his socials with the caption "Nuthin 2 see here... plenty to hear!!!" Dre, Royce, Alchemist, Ez Mil, Denaun and Em appear in the photos. April 1st (Again, not technically promo) - A video is posted to Eminem's socials as an 'April Fools' joke which announces 'Infinite 2' as the new album. At the beginning of the video screenshots are seen of fans asking for the new album. This could be seen as an indication that the new album is on its way. April 22nd - April 26th (1 month later) - Em appears in a series of small "Skits" which are posted on social media alongside NFL Director Roger Goodell. They appear to confirm Em will make an appearance at the NFL Draft which is being hosted in Detroit. April 27th - Eminem comes on stage at the NFL Draft. During the following ad break, an advert is broadcast announcing his latest album: 'The Death of Slim Shady: Coupe De Grace' in the style of a murder documentary called "Detroit Files". In days afterwards, behind the scene pictures / videos appear on X. April 28th - Animated "Missing" and "Wanted" posters are displayed as backgrounds to some of his most popular songs on Spotify. May 10th (12 days later) - An interview with Eminem's long time collaborator, Luis Resto is published. Within the interview, Resto says that "I do have a notion of things judging by what I have seen and heard across the last three years and if I have to give you a forecast, you are going to hear a whole nod back to some of his original creative areas. He is talking about where he came from and where he is now." This confirms that he's been working on the album since roughly 2021/22 and that he is returning to some of his "original creative areas" (SSLP / MMLP??) May 13th (2 days later) - An obituary appears in a local Detroit newspaper with the title: "Slim Shady made lasting impressions". It also mentions that fans will "Never Forget" Slim Shady (potential title to a single???). May 17th (4 days later) - Stephen Colbert shows the newspaper obituary on his late night TV show and speaks about the upcoming album. He also mouths near the end of the clip that Em should come on the show. May 21st (4 days later) - Em posts a short video on his socials in the style of a text message chain. The first, and only, text sent reads "... and for my last trick". At the top of the text chain, the date and time 'Fri 31st May 00:00' appears. In the coming days, a fan on Reddit points out that "last trick" is an anagram for "tracklist" which leads to speculation of a tracklist coming being announced on Friday the 31st of May alongside a single. **UPDATE** May 29th (8 days later) - Em posts the Houdini cover art to his socials. May 31st (2 days later) - The first single off his new album, Houdini, is released along with a music video. Em also releases 'Drop #1' of a exclusive digital album only available at eminem.com which features one bonus track. The digital album is available for 1 week only. June 6th (6 days later) - Em performs Houdini live for the first time at Michigan Central. Jelly Roll and Trick Trick also make guest appearances alongside Em, performing 'Welcome 2 Detroit' (Trick Trick) + 'Sing for the Moment' (Jelly Roll). June 24th (18 days later) - Em announces he's performing later this year at the US Grand Prix in Texas on Saturday the 19th of October. June 28th (4 days later) - Em announces the second single from his album named 'TOBEY' featuring Big Sean + BabyTron. The announcement shows a video clip of him wearing a jason mask, cutting up a body with a chainsaw which is to be released later that week on Friday (5th of July). The video is produced by Cole Bennett. July 2nd (5 days later) - The second single from Eminem's new album TOBEY ft Big Sean+ BabyTron is released. Eminem also announces a release date of July 12th for his album 'The Death of Slim Shady: Couple De Grace' with an album trailer which features a clip from the Houdini music video + Pompsomp Hills Hospital (originally seen during the Relapse era). With this, he announces 'drop #2' of a exclusive digital album only available at eminem.com. This second drop comes with another bonus track. July 5th (3 days later) - Em announces on socials that the music video for TOBEY has been delayed until Monday the 8th of July and releases a small clip of it. July 8th (3 days later) - The TOBEY music video by Cole Bennett is released on Cole Bennett's YouTube channel. Eminem releases a merch collaboration with 'White Castle' (t-shirt / baseball cap). July 9th (1 day later) - Complex announces a pop-up shop in LA to celebrate the release of 'TDOSS' from Friday 12th - Sunday 14th. 433 N Fairfax Avenue Los Angeles, CA Eminem posts a picture of the album front cover on his socials. The tracklist for 'The Death of Slim Shady: Coupe De Grace' appears on Apple Music (no features can be seen). The run times for each song appear on Amazon Music (1 hour 4 mins run time, includes 3 skits + 14 new songs)
