Jul 12, 2024 this album made me laugh a few times and that's something I missed I just slapped Dre, do not tell me what I can't say That's gay And not the kind of good gay either and you're there wondering, what, like happy? and he hits you with the where two men f--- each other and hate beaver call me childish but it's hilarious also this is mmlp level of humour: And as far as what I just stated, regarding midgets You'll probably think I'll just say that I'm playin', I'm not, I meant it (Yeah) Swear to God I see one of them little f---ers come at me I'll pick it up by its legs and drop it and kick it
Jul 12, 2024 I believe the song is from the point of view of if he OD’d and died instead of recovering.
Jul 12, 2024 Lost interest pretty early. The Candance owns diss is disgusting. Did he really say he was gonna send the grand wizard on her? Anyway is there any news on the next album?
Jul 12, 2024 Posted this on Joeys review thread, here are.my first impressions on the songs I’ve been listening to so far. I’ve listened to these 4 tracks 10 times each at minimum Renaissance- Great flow and beat, impactful subject matter. Lyrics pretty solid but could have taken the time to make them a little tighter, could have slowed down just a little bit with his flow over that beat. 7.5/10 2. Habits - 10/10 No other explanation is needed. 3. Tobey - Gritty guitar accompanied by an excellent beat. Raw lyrics and flow -inspiring especially if you have faced and overcome adversity. The intensity is somewhat chill but gradually becomes more intense as the song goes on. Em gives new modern day thoughts and reflection on his verse and Verses 2 and 3 are absolute fire. This song is for the underdogs. A true work of art imho. 8/10 4. Houdini - Amazing old school flow with nostalgia and a great video. Catchy for the mainstream and the song itself is one we have all heard before, a true classic that’s addictive and catchy. The way em flows over this track is a 10.. Loses points for being a bit gimmicky and mainstream. 8/10 5. GC2 -8.5/10 Excellent Subject matter, creativity and lyrical content - its new em vs old em. Gotta listen to this over and over to catch the subtleties and truly appreciate. The story of a man maturing and evolving as he reflects on his life. I wish em had slowed down just a little bit on this one. Shady seemed to be the winner lyrically - but old em made some valid points as well. Could have done a little better with his pushback tho, he was just above the whole thing. If not for these 2 little nitpicks it would be a solid 9.
Jul 12, 2024 Btw, if Em opened rapcavior or rap life playlists and just picked artists such as jid and worked with them…he would be bigger than drake in the 2010s. He sadly chose a weird path with skylar and his weird friends
Jul 12, 2024 I’m not disagreeing lol it’s only thing I could think that he could possibly be pointing to. Or that he was sooo worried people would actually be outraged that they want them to understand he’s kidnapped by slim? and it’s not him kicking midgets or saying the word r-----. He played it really safe on the album IMO.
Jul 12, 2024 Where’s the lyrics for fuel? Em’s verse will give me a heart attack if I keep listening. This is his best verse in…… I don’t want to say
