Jul 13, 2024 Yeah, there were reasons why Revival was so terrible like you said; trying to please everyone at once. I’d love to hear a more “mature” Eminem album without the slim shady gimmick that’s just him making good music, where he’s at now, and killing it over great production, which he’s showed he’s still capable of doing. He just needs to pick a lane, and there’s plenty he could choose with how much of an hip-hop enthusiast he is.

Jul 13, 2024 id say the next album is prob a retirement album. from solo projects at least. this s--- has to end at some point and i think he will go into a dre type of role maybe we get a em project after that is just stacked with features.

Jul 13, 2024 I think this is exactly why he’s done it, & approached an “SSLP2” this way, to allow the freedom to pursue new ideas without the ghost of the past continuing to follow him around, which the fans were clamouring for every time. I can’t envision any other raison d'être.
