Jul 13, 2024 My only real issue with the album besides the underwhelming ending is that it's a little all over the place. Eminem's usually going too fast for my taste. You'd think a man his age would have naturally calmed down but he's still so hyperspastic. When he was young he understood the value of pacing himself and expressing himself succinctly and one thought at a time. Maybe on the next album lol
Jul 13, 2024 Your country has caused death & destruction all around the world to maintain its hegemony & you’re too r-----ed to even see it so you can shut the f--- with that crybaby rhetoric. The far-left are revolutionaries, you have a capitalist ruling class backed by international finance capital that uses the US dollar as a tool of coercion via trade, the IMF & World Bank institutions. The same class you were whining about half an hour ago. The same class that collaborated with Hitler & Mussolini, they were selling oil to Germany, using US banks to trade, & practicing war games together in the US whilst the Nazis were putting Jews in concentration camps. f--- outta here with that ahistorical bs.
Jul 13, 2024 Eminem has been working on this album since 2002. Somebody found snippets from 2001-2004. Check these out.
Jul 13, 2024 love how the concept plays into the Eminem is a clone fables too lol "long time no see, you thought you got rid of me huh" then after he's killed the entire feel of the songs switch
Jul 13, 2024 Third full (minus Temporary) listen done. This album is definitely a gem. Seems like he fused MMLP2 and MTMB/Side B and Slim Shady Versus concept as the focus? It was executed quite well. Side Note: Careful What You Wish For started playing and I think it kinda fits on here. Renaissance 10/10 although I'm not a fan of songs below 3 minutes. Habits 9/10 The more of the song we hear it's better. I prefer the latter part though because the cadence change brought a different rhyme scheme or at least an illusion of it. I'm not a fan of fast raps, was one of those who wanted Em to stop it after the XV era or whenever, I prefer it here because the pen game was better in the latter part and style wise too. Trouble unable to rate, it's as short as a skit, had strong points and the abrupt f--- this and that was kinda cringe, but it coulda been a very big Slim song if it got extended. Evil 10/10 Not much to point out here Brand New Dance 10/10 Lucifer 9/10 Not much to point out here Love the MMLP2 bit and the end leads perfectly into the next song. Antichrist 10/10 Not much to point out here. It's another perfect headbutting song, just like GC2. And that MMLP2 bit Bizzare fit the song but I think his part could've been made into a different full song as well. Had the potential. Fuel 10/10 JID and that Em C scheme I would've prefered if he did so prior as well but you can only do so much with C's. Road Rage 6.8 idk don't think it's 6.5 but I'm unsure if I should give it a 7/10 I don't know, unecessary. Sound wise and pen wise. It should've been built more on the part about dying the hair. Either that or the bouncy style at the end. Houdini 11/10 Guilty Conscience 2 11/10 Head Honcho 9/10 Still think this would've worked better as an Ez only song. It just fits him so perfectly. Em's verse doesn't stand out much but it's good for the song. Temporary Unable to rate Bad One 10/10 Not much to say here. Feels like Zeus and that song was top tier too. Love the hook. White Gold is gold. Need White Gold and BME. Tobey 9.5/10 Video definitely made me appreciate it more. Now that we have the album and I see liking the album more and more with each listen, it's no wonder I started liking Tobey so easily. Really thought it could be an album opener. Somebody Save Me Unable to rate I'm trying to compare this to Kamikaze but I can't because Trapinem was different I'm switching my album rating to a 10 just because I'm hype. Don't know if it's a 10 but idc, lemme be hype.
