Jul 13, 2024 I might be out of tune, but I feel like he goes with what might sound right (for him) on each beat. If he wanted modern hooks he'd get Swae Lee or even Andersoon Paak who was outstanding on MTBMB. Certainly not Sly Pyper on Road Rage, who sounds like he's being tortured when he sings. Sometimes I feel like you guys (specially Jank) think Em is a dumb guy who is easily fooled, lol. I think he's a lot more up to date than you give him credit for. Even when we may not like the music he puts out.

Jul 13, 2024 I think the Sly collabs come packaged with the Dre beats. I think he chooses people like White Gold when he sees good reactions to it like he did with MTBMB. I just think he’s a reactive artist, that doesn’t necessarily put his creative instincts forward but panders because he wants to be accepted.
