It’s a concept album for the fans, no idea how that makes him a struggling gay man but I know that one of the things Maga is doing is basically saying any man who doesn’t support them right now must be gay, which I find disgusting.

Jul 14, 2024 Spoiler: Spoiler because politics I think it’s silly to counter banning something by saying we can’t do it because then why not ban other stuff. It’s just a thought experiment anyway. If it’s for the survival of your population/society, & there’s no negative repercussions, then what’s the downside? There will always be methods to get around it anyway, like VPNs, it’ll just reduce addictions & help people build sustainable real life connections, improve dating, reduce child exposure to pornography stunting their emotional growth, & stop it being such a huge predatory business sector running rampant in your society… look at OnlyFans, it’s unavoidable now. You can’t tell me all of this isn’t problematic & contributing to the decline in the birth rate. It’s not the only factor — birth control & abortion is a factor as well, which I’m against intervention on. But individualism as well, it promotes a high cost of living, forcing 1 person households to be an economic centre, instead of a family unit where there’s 1 breadwinner for example, & these households barely get by. Another way is urbanisation — pushing individuals into education & city living for their careers up until they’re 30 before they’re even finished chasing their degrees never mind comfortable economically to own a home, so they don’t have the time nor the money to reproduce. These are material examples but there’s also a cultural aspect, when generations of people are seeing a constant societal degradation around them & reduction of standards of living, people will choose not to have children as well. Urban living causes a lot of these feedback loops that’s why the state needs to intervene in some way to promote family values whether through subsidies or policies that help families start up. Housing is a huuuge key to this. We’ll always have to fight against the tide of reducing birth rates as nations develop if we don’t reduce the work hours… hopefully UBI/UBS & automation will reduce work hours & create an economic/social safety net for populations to find mates & reproduce more comfortably.
