Jul 14, 2024 TDOSS is easily his best produced album since Relapse and that is pretty much subjective. One thing that can’t be critiqued is the production.
Jul 14, 2024 Is it though? Okay, most beats here seem more pleasant (although less surprising) but the two Revival-like tracks are leagues below Castle/Arose when it comes to that, and are generally way worse. The lyrics on Revival went into more directions while TDOSS is mostly stuck on "look how silly and edgy Slim is". As for energy … s---, after 10 listens or so, I'm still not sure what he's going for. It's a very good album, don't get me wrong, but so was Revival.
Jul 14, 2024 Some day people will admit that the Kamikaze - DOSS run is actually not bad at all and dare I say, pretty good. He’ll never be TES level, but I think he’s as close as he’ll ever get. MTBMB is great and still holds up. And I think DOSS will hold up even better.
Jul 14, 2024 d--- son, you really need hearing aids. Em even had to switch beats before murdering them on some tracks.

Jul 14, 2024 With constant promo and a better second single, this would easily do 600/700k with physicals
Jul 14, 2024 I agree it is silly but at the same time, it's also pretty interesting for its own sake. Specially when it comes to following your own train of thought and how you arrived that X is better than Y.
Jul 14, 2024 Ironic as It’s just you, who thinks the production is bad. Literally no one else has said said the production is bad lol.
