Jul 14, 2024 Here's my review after listening for a couple of days. It's a good album, not great. It's a good album for core EM fans. I don't think it has a hit other than Houdini though Pros - No yelling. No relationship love songs. No chopper flows. No super corny lines? No political songs. Cons - 2 MGK mentions. Caitlyn Jenner. GC2 (NO DRE)? It was just a shady reflection. It wasn't a guilty conscience trying to get him to do s---. Gotta have z Dre on this or give it a different name. No huge hits. There is no: Ltwyl, Rap God, Godzilla, Monster, Lucky You.. Etc. Somebody save me is good, but just a continuation and repetitive of castle and arose. Seems to me it would have been better with a new Jelly Hook.

Jul 14, 2024 After three listens: Renaissance: 9/10 Habits: 10/10 Trouble: 8/10 (need a one hour version) Brand New Dance: 8.5/10 Evil: 10/10 Lucifier: 10/10 Antichrist: 9/10 Fuel: 10/10 Road Rage: 6/10 (mid aahh song but one extra point for commitment to the concept despite the fact it should've been cut) Houdini: 9/10 Guilty Conscience: 10/10 Head Honcho: 8.5/10 Temporary: 9.5/10 Bad One: 8.5/10 Tobey: 9/10 Somebody Save Me: 10/10 Final rating: 9/10. MMLP TES TDOSS Relapse SSLP This is my top 5, with very little to separate the later three albums after top two. They're all equally nice.

Jul 14, 2024 Yeah if I would rate his older albums now pretty sure some songs I would rate lower than a week after I heard it. Its very unfair to compare an album thats been out a few days to one over 20 years ago lol of course its great now its fresh. But in a few years?
Jul 14, 2024 Yes. Death of Marshall Mathers should be a fully Dre produced album with D12 features, Slaughterhouse feats, and Leagacy MC rappers like Redman, LL, Rakim, ect. Just a rappers rappers type of album lyrically. Death of Eminem should be his last Pop rap album. Like Rihanna, Skylar Grey, and a collection of his emotional songs and drug recovery type music. this would end his new era of death.
Jul 14, 2024 Just have to say that he is undoubtedly the greatest rapper ever. 25 years in the game and he still want to give his fans something new and still is able to bring stuff like this to table. Great artist, may fav of all time
