Jul 15, 2024 He was inspired by Kendrick and now it's time for him to get inspired by people like Lupe and Aesop so he can start getting really weird with it
Jul 15, 2024 it was written in 2000, found in images of Em's written lyrics during that time it's a great hook IMO Love how the adlib escalates from just "children" to "skanks, sluts, whores, men, women, and children"
Jul 15, 2024 Déjà Vu is the only one I would put up there for your argument but I like Going Through Changes just as much & Recovery is even lower on my list. We’re talking projects as a whole not individual songs. The rapping on Relapse is like an illiterate 12 year old with a speech impediment compared to TDOSS. Then add the concept & the use of AI, yeah it’s the best album post-hiatus.
Jul 15, 2024 Explain? slim shady renegaded marshall all over this album. Its proof his flow voice is the only thing thats not as great nowadays. Everything after slim dies is sonically not as great as the rest of the album. bad ones head honcho and tobey are subpar because he doesnt flow as he tried to do on the first 13 tracks dont care if he uses AI throughout his next album, i missed that flow and voice so much and makes his newest flow to stand out on how bad it is sonically
Jul 15, 2024 I'm about to make it my life's mission to make the internet see the excellence of this album, this is honestly one of the greatest hardcore hip-hop albums of all time.
Jul 15, 2024 This part is kinda true, most of the weaker songs to me were after the Slim persona stopped showing up which isn't a good look for moving past it lmao. Doesn't matter to me much cause the rest of it is good
Jul 15, 2024 So you are not going to explain why i’m moronic for wanting slim to ditch the MTBMB flow and just rap like he does on renaissance if he can still flow as perfect as he does? Thats the eminem i fell in love with
Jul 15, 2024 The last half of his verse on fuel is the hardest s--- he’s spit in a min… just flow like this for a whole project and ditch that stop and go bs for good em Nobody's sixteens are touching These motherfukkin' index fingers fukkin' the nina Clutchin' the nine millimeter, tuckin' the heat Got the toaster like an English muffin No, I mean "toast to" like you drink to somethin' But it's in a holster, I proceed to bust and fukk around and get popped like Halyna Hutchins Like I'm Alec Baldwin, what I mean is buckin' you down Coup de grâce then, right between the fukkin' eyes s---t 'em all then, if you think you're fukkin' with me You're gonna suffer the fukkin' repercussions The reaper's comin' to heathen, I need it from me I keep replenishing fuel while the beat I'm punishing
Jul 15, 2024 It is pretty INSANE that Eminem has not been out-rapped once since his overdose Drake, Kanye, Wayne, Kendrick, Sean, Danny Brown, Logic, Nas, JID No one could do it
Jul 15, 2024 agreed Em on EPMD was mid but Nas was more mid (cold bars but boring flow), and Em always goes easy on Sean for the sake of Detroit but still manages to edge him out but always makes it look close Everyone else was murdered lmao, JID being the next closest
Jul 15, 2024 haha, I hope Kendrick returns the favor (Em would drop the hardest feature ever for him)
Jul 15, 2024 If you want to hear the greatest Eminem verse of all time, just wait until he gets on another song with Kendrick
