Jul 15, 2024 Eminem is still dragging Canibus through the album if you pay attention Canibus major diss songs against Eminem verse & lines have way too many similarities to Eminem verses on Death of slim shady. Eminem is still rebutting 20 year old beef; “cause you said Bis ain't dope - you a d--- liar!" …. Now listen to Tobey. “Thought you were dope, you were misdiagnosed”. Think it’s a reach. Absolutely not. Tobey’s is written from the perspective of Eminem showing you his rise and Ripping rappers that the public puts on a higher list then him. But did you know the beef with Canibus actually started from the song called the Ripper strikes back?! Where Canibus thought Em ghostwrote it Canibus most famous Eminem diss song in 2002 “Curiculum 101” is the original source for that C Scheme on fuel. Since Bis and Eminem’s diss started in 1998 when Canibus thought Eminem ghostwrite LL’s diss song against him. He went on years sub dissing em. Then he literally made a diss from the perspective of a stan. I mean the diss battle was a lot going on but this verse is key What the f--- is the Mathers wit' you? I'll beat you black and blue, then I'll probably get a tat of you too Better yet I'll put a tattoo of me on you A 10 by 10 "C" logo neon blue this is why Eminem used the C alteration on Fuel. Like this isn’t a coincidence. Em says in that C scheme “If Kon coulda conked him into unconsciousness” Kon Artist of D12. Canibus was also dissing D12 too. then once the beef died Bis said on radio “If I can look back and say that I had a good time, how can LL or Eminem say they had a bad one?". Then Eminem song bad one on this album is adressing smoke. Like Eminem clearly knew what he was doing.
Jul 15, 2024 Eminem mentions Canibus last out of the names he lists on Guilty Conscience 2 & finishes with “if you’re listening, this is the end” — which is most likely purposely done because of his sit down with Math Hoffa, it seems like the opposite of “dragging,” but a sign of respect.
Jul 15, 2024 part 1 of a short story I'm writing... Lighting strikes. Suddenly, I'm entranced by the HYPNOTIC flow on "Renaissance". Is it early 2004? I can barely process the words as the voice and flow melt my temporal lobe. I feel like I'm being brainwashed. His music has never felt more like a drug than it does right now. Then, before you know it, I hear... "half an Ativan, I'm drivin' straight at a van," and "getting chased in Pakistan by a pack of stans," and I know something special is happening. I hear "whoever gets offended, s--- a d-ck and f--- a critic" in the 2000 voice, and my jaw drops. WHAT THE f--- IS HAPPENING!?! "You can't say r-----ed! Shut up, midget!" SATIRE!?! "cuz you know that I'm prescription man" confirmation that the music is the cause of the high that I'm already on verse 2, the flow glides so smooth over the 808 glides to be continued...
Jul 15, 2024 @Marsh, knowing how much of a stan you are, I really hope you can come around to the album some more. I'm very confident it's the best he's ever made.
