Jul 15, 2024 Strange but TDoSS made me feel like listening to Recovery too. Today I tried listening to Kamikaze and couldn't get into that album. The voice was too off-putting to me. I know it was.maybe just a bad day for this aggressive album but still – I enjoyed Recovery throughoutly except for two songs. I believe the thing TDoSS and Recovery have in common is the perfect layering of vocals. You can tell how much work was put into this aspect on those albums. Em didn't care much about it from MMLP2 to MTBMB (although his voice on MTBMB is very pleasant even without layering).
