Oct 20, 2021 We already knew he wasn't on the song, which is good imo, cause I think it sucks lol but he could have had a cameo dancing with some avatar b------s
Oct 20, 2021 Killer is a club b-----r that you will never hear at the club but it would be fun in a verzuz, as long as he performs a verse from the original and not the remix
Oct 20, 2021 I noticed something after watching Jay Z talking about growing up and having no aspirations for the Rock n Roll Hall of fame and I started to realize that the only rappers and hip hop artists that care about rock are white. Eminem, Post …. They all try to use rock on their albums and reference rock bands. Even Em says that he is “brainwashed from rock and rap.” There is no point to what I’m saying, just a thought. Edit: I guess what I’m trying to say is maybe there is some merit to black artists saying that white artists are guests in hip hop
Oct 20, 2021 Have you been paying any attention to the Emo wave in rap? There are black rock/metal fans lmao.
Oct 20, 2021 Both beats are "rock-inspired" (Takeover has a The Doors sample), there are more in Jay's discography, and in the discographies of other rappers (Run DMC's collab with Aerosmith or Obie Trice's Wanna Know for example) that are non-white.
Oct 20, 2021 I agree with you. But most worked with rock artists after they became famous. They never however grew up on rock. That’s the idea I am trying to bring forth.
Oct 20, 2021 I guess most white rappers love rock music but couldn’t hack it and didn’t have the voice so decided to go into rap.
Oct 20, 2021 Just because black rappers work with rock artists or have rock beats doesn’t mean they had an influence in their up bringing. Post Malone can’t say a line without mentioning a rock artists. Post is not a rapper but in hip hop nonetheless. Em is heavily inspired by rock but at least he was also heavily inspired by rap.
Oct 20, 2021 Are you dumb? No honest question. Yeah working with different genres and collaborating means you grew up and were influenced by that genre. You honestly believe jay z is sitting at home bumping rock music? So you think Jay Z bumps Eminem just because they collaborated. Jay z is a business man and saw an opportunity with Linkin Park
Oct 20, 2021 Bunch of stupid illiterate idiots here. I say White rappers are influenced by rock and they start giving examples of black rappers collaborating with rock groups. It’s not the same thing fa----s.
