Jul 16, 2024 As sad as it is, it will take Eminem's death for later albums like this to be respected. He will have one of the most iconic discographies of all time (not just rap, any artist ever). What other artist can go platinum and #1 in four different decades? What about doing it at age 51 with a dark conceptual project without any big pop features? Puts things in perspective... In 20+ years (if humanity is still around), all that will be remembered is how this was another great album for one of the biggest-ever artists that perfectly wrapped up the most iconic alter ego of all time. What won't be remembered is what a f---ing critic said or which albums sold a bit less than others.
