Jul 16, 2024 I've enjoyed his music my whole life but this album must be f---in crazy for people who've followed him since the beginning, especially with brand new dance and the reveal that it was originally the scrapped encore song
Jul 16, 2024 First time I heard guilty conscience 2 I thought he said k--- shot through your c---. Lol
Jul 16, 2024 I can't say I'm from the very beginning, more like a '05 - '06 guy but this s--- is incredible anyway, I got a soft spot for the drugged up slurring voice from Encore even if I dislike most of that album (That's why I like the Re-Up and "King Mathers" so much)
Jul 16, 2024 BND was very fun and felt like an exotic item the first 3 or 4 times, for me. But it's one of those songs that get old really quickly. But the rest of the album is pure greatness until Guilty Conscience 2 ends- Everything I've ever wanted since Recovery.
Jul 16, 2024 Yeah I'm not a huge fan of BND but I just meant that getting to Guilty Conscience 2 and the context of when and why BND made it onto the album clicking into place was awesome on first listen
Jul 16, 2024 And, as always since Kamikaze, I'm also enjoying the reactions/breakdowns which have become a huge part of each album rollout for me.
Jul 16, 2024 fr, I never look at lyrics on first listen so it just stuck with me, I can't hear "booyaka" unless I read it KILLSHOT, THROUGH YA c---, c--------- COOP THE GRASS, MFer
Jul 16, 2024 Would y'all believe me if last year I told you that Tenacious D broke up because Trump almost got killed
Jul 16, 2024 The way I view the story of the album… The album starts off with Eminem spitting on Slim Shady’s grave. Then thunder strikes and Slim has his renaissance, rising from the dead and giving us his opening bars, then throughout the album, Em is battling with Slim Shady taking over as his alter ego again, until we get to GC2 where at the end of it, Em finally says “k--- shot coup de grace (the final blow) MFer” basically telling us he’s killed Slim Shady again and that’s final. Then he wakes up and he calls Paul and realises it was all a dream, he dreamt the old Slim came back and had him saying all this f----- up s--- but in reality Shady was always dead. I think the album’s story ends there. And the songs after GC2 are like deluxe tracks, obviously still tied in to the theme and progression of the album because he talks about death in Temporary and Somebody Save Me and ends on that note.
Jul 16, 2024 Yeah, as in booyakasha, lmao Shortened version of that I reckon I could have sworn he says the same or similar in Buffalo Bill... or some Relapse song, ... Bagpipes; but, I can't f---ing find the line.
Jul 16, 2024 I wish Em would fix the sound dip in the end of fuel on streaming services. I highly doubt its an artistic choice, got to be editing mistake
Jul 16, 2024 I still don't understand why the "two" versions of Eminem sound the same in the All You Got Skit. There's no Slim Shady in it. Did he forget to run one of the tracks through AI?
