Jul 17, 2024 Dude is actually crazy love it I remember that line he had in revelation or fight music where he says his grandmother has aids so 'that b---- will die of a cold' lmao
Jul 17, 2024 Renaisannce is a fantastic intro, and godly flow, tone and writing... But really shoulda ended sharp on 'soon as I quit giving a f--- I started to sell a bit', bc after that he devolves into 'premonition 2'. I had two major hopes for this album a) please no love songs (which I can't believe, like, guys, this is the first Em album since... MMLP with no love songs and b) no 'wah criitics my albums!' s--- and... he basically avoided it, but just couldn't help himself there lol... But not just that, that line 'soon as I quit giving a f--- I started to sell a bit', one is a genius pun but two... is the PERFECT line to hang the opening on, bc that's exactly when he created Slim Shady / after Infinite flopped and he stopped giving a f---, got annoyed and created Slim Shady. Imagine it ends on that line n repeat/fades or something, woulda been way better. We didn't need the whiney album s---.
Jul 17, 2024 I dont why but the album kinda depressing me. Maybe because it’s a goodbye album from slim shady and hearing that voice and flow again. Feels like some part of my childhood died with that album
Jul 17, 2024 My sources tell me the next album will be Curtain Call 3 and is just Ken Kaniff singing his parodies of all Em's hits.
Jul 17, 2024 I'll try: Shady resurrection is actually Em's impulse to get in the booth to write and record songs whenever he feels the urge to get some s--- off his chest. So he records these controversial songs but sometimes he has afterthoughts about them since he is a grown 50 years old man and that's why when the urge is gone (Shady's death) he goes back to more personal matters.
Jul 17, 2024 I view Habits as the first real track on the album, Renaissance is a brilliant intro but too short and just that, the intro Habits is tied with Fuel for my favorite beat on the album. If this one isn't in my top 3 it's just outside of it. What are you guys thoughts on Habits?
