Jul 18, 2024 Incredible album mannnn My only complaint is that the Eminem/Marshall Mathers side of him doesn't get enough space on the album. Tracks 1-13 (10 practically including two skits and Trouble) saw Slim Shady at his most demented and Eminem fighting against it helplessly before killing him on GC2. But the Eminem/Marshall side got only six tracks later on, limited to bragging about his GOAT status and discog, a song about his daughter and a "what if" song about his addiction. Maybe three more songs about lets say about one of his kids becoming non-binary and him encouraging them, one about lets say his brother, one about Eminem's day to day, humble and simple lifestyle and managing his wealth, a tiny sprinkle of politics, his struggles at finding a soulmate and staying by himself at an age most people are settled etc etc would have given this album a little more balance, maturity and made it into a proper Eminem guide of sorts to understand him and his music. Would have been a perfect album on all fronts depending on execution of these topics. Could've even beaten the likes of MMLP and TES. The album could've improved upon execution of both Relapse and Revival to make a juggernaut of an album. That's why, I really hope that there is a side B or a companion album discussing more of Eminem/Marshall Mathers side of him, some of these aforementioned ideas is coming soon. TDOSS would get its legitimacy 10x and fans/critics would also get their "Eminem's 4:44". The autobiographical, personal aspect of Eminem's music really made Em a superstar for the masses beyond America and I think he should do this I Am Marshall type album next.
Jul 18, 2024 Hold on, I don't have the f---ing link right now but did y'all see the new steve berman skit? The one with a video, not the one that you have to call a number, the f--- does that mean? There's new s--- coming or it's just a joke? Edit: found it https://youtube.com/shorts/W5zwSlBuHfU?si=aqLXAywJVwZCBuzU
Jul 18, 2024 I love that fact that he used only 3 verses for feature artists (JID, Big Sean, BabyTron). I don't wanna listen another artists. I waited this perfect album since 2020. One more time to remember and not forget: 1. The Eminem Show 2. The Marshall Mathers Lp 3. The Slim Shady Lp 4. The Death Of Slim Shady 5. Recovery 6. Kamikaze 7. Relapse 8. The Marshall Mathers Lp 2 9. Music To Be Murdered By 10. Revival 11. Encore
Jul 18, 2024 Spotify just announced thier top 10 most streamed rappers of all time on the platform. Eminem is #2 behind Drake. Crazy how he has been dominating every era of music from physicals, Digitals and now streaming era. Legit legendary. https://x.com/popbase/status/1813776596576370942?s=46&t=sTdJZMenLQSZNz-HvhnLqw
Jul 18, 2024 Diddy would be stupid to respond. Especially since the entire internet is still against him, and the black community has made him a joke. He is like R. Kelly, in that there is no way the general public will accept him again. Responding would just bring eyes back on his sexual assault case and his house raid. And the whole justin Bieber weirdo stuff & Kid Cudi crime would comeback to haunt him
Jul 18, 2024 It has no staying power but for us Stans it will be our most played album obviously. Best thing they can do is remix one of the songs like with Killer.
Jul 18, 2024 They’ve only done one for this album lol the rest are just digital or exclusives to other shops
Jul 18, 2024 How many times does the alarm go off on this album? I counted 3. And also... Might be the dumbest guy in the room, but, I just realized Brand New Dance ends with an alarm clock sound and Em's waking up. Then, in very first line of the next song, Evil, he says: Woke up with an attitude today.
Jul 18, 2024 He had the worst type of dream, the one where you wake up and it's still a dream, that's why after "Evil" Shady says to Em "thought you was dreaming huh?"
