Jul 19, 2024 He is not getting any Grammy's ever unless he makes very very mature and politically correct music. Critics already bashed the DOSS so no chance. But it's better this way. The fact that Em was ignored for years, when he turned the game upside down with Recovery even though I'm not a fan of that album, they only gave 2 awards out of 10 nominees. Since then, it's not even against just Em, they are basically supporting some artists and completely ignoring some others. Grammy's lost a lot of credibility..
Jul 19, 2024 Ok drops tonight, nothing really shaking. Childish album is a cool movie sound track vibe. It’s a little all over the place sound wise. You can tell he a big Ye fan, basically he just perfecting sounds Ye already made and cleaner. Solid tracks: Real love, Lithonia, In the Night, Yoshinova, Can You Feel Me, Cruisin’, A Place Where Love Goes Even rich the kid’s album is just average imho, the Ye feature on Plain Jane is good. Conclusion: slim got no competition to worry about this week chartwise
Jul 19, 2024 I hear you, I think Grammys get a lot of s--- that is undeserved, if it turns out TDOSS has more depth (such as reverse, infinite loop etc) and if Em speaks out on utilizing new tech in Gen Ai to bring old shady back etc. I dont think they care about critics, it will get love
