Jul 19, 2024 Im not mad at that. Off entertainment factor: TES MMLP TSSLP TDOSS = MTBMB But, just looking at it on a critical/art level, that’s my list. MMLP2 is just a full complete body of work. I can’t explain it. It just felt like he was in another zone with that album. Like, he put that pressure on himself making a sequel to his iconic album and just locked in as best as he could and succeeded in my opinion.

Jul 19, 2024 I think nostalgia has a grip on us. Don’t get me wrong TSSLP has iconic songs on it. But, in the future a argument can be made I think TDOSS needs more visuals. TSSLP has a tone plus a whole era to itself which is another reason why it’s holding that 3rd spot
Jul 19, 2024 Lyrically it is much emotionally deeper, but the hook Skyler wrote is emotional crack and way more emotional than those other samples on Castle/Arose. That hook is d--- beautiful.
