Jul 19, 2024 Difficult is an example of lyrics being simple but still sounding and writing like it’s meaningfully. That song is completely bareback but one of his most emotional songs because of the writing, as is Mockinbird. Temporary is not and just sounds forced. Track would have been better if it was just recordings playing throughout. Nothing to do with reinventing the wheel or having a kid so it hits different. Cop out.
