Jul 22, 2024 Ya’ll ever think Em could do a positive happy uplifting album? I mean, with the death of shady, sober for 16 years, 3 healthy kids, being the goat, won everything you can win, mansion with elevator and resources to cover a couple of lifetimes, Would hit diff with a ”I made it”-type of album instead of always being sad and angry and bitter. Album with a drake-ye vibe ”started from the bottom now I’m here” rapping about loyalty how he is staying with the same team, believing in yourself, trusting the process, even when it feels as the darkest the ability to change the tide, him being grateful etc. I feel like that would be an era we havent really explored a lot in his storytelling and writing. The few times he actually done inspiring positive songs they have been exceptionelly well.

Jul 22, 2024 Not sounding positive and uplifting per say, I just don't think it's in his veins lol. Like, 'Lose Yourself' is inspirational and motivational but... he still sounds like, angry and forceful. Is just always how his vibes will be and I think that's right, I don't know what him sounding 'happy' would be like, it usually just translates to goofy. But uh, I think he's threaded what you're talking about throughout his music the whole time anyway, I don't think we need a whole album on that, it'd be pretty restrained and repeitive. How many times have we heard him talk about his come up, about struggling, how he's made it etc. I think we need music not about his persona or life anymore.
