    Yea, D12 was on MMLP, TES, 8 Mile, Cheers, Encore and Re Up… aside from their own two albums.. lots of royalties

    I think Em has cooled off being mad at Tyler and I know Tyler still respects Em as a rapper, despite his criticisms of his actual music.

    You’ve gotta contextualise MMLP2, a lot of people look at it from now & go “well MTBMB sounds better so MMLP2 is trash” but the thing is, Em having his vocal delivery measured, even if it’s staccato at times, not in your face, yelling over a compressed EQ filter & saying clever lines, wordplay worth actually discussing & dissecting, throwbacks & calls back to old material, even the beat changes in So Far… for example, are legendary additions to his discography & a major step up from Recovery. It’s criminally underrated as a successor to Recovery & I will always fight its corner.

    I always kinda disliked it. It was a weird mix of tracks, more female hooks (feats or samples), rock rap and childish stuff like I already said but...

    It had huge hits (Monster and Rap God) and also the whole Call Of Duty Ghosts promo.

    Of course, you’re right they are major flaws & something I’d never stop complaining about for years after its release but looking back 8 years on, they’re such minor discrepancies for the greatness we got coinciding with that, it’d be a shame to only remember the negatives of the era & not the positives that made him reach heights that seemed inconceivable during Recovery.

    I don't hate it, even bought 2 copies, I just don't go back to it much compared to his other projects.

    I’d probably say the same for overall enjoyable front to back listen, but I’d be lying if I omitted MMLP2 from the most concluded album overall.
