Jul 29, 2024 It's a dogshit album. I don't care about how deep the message is, so was Revival. The production is trash, the album is boring as h---, the features are laughable. Kodak Black, Blxst, and a bunch of no names on a Kendrick project. Not to mention that the album just falls flat considering most Kendrick fans are white and his target audience of this album is not white people. Just an overall Terrible album. I'll be willing to give you 3-5 decent songs, but it's worse than Revival

Jul 29, 2024 It's def dope a--- album. Great story telling tracks, really one of the few rap albums that actually talks about something. But no replay value whatsoever. I don't agree with you in that sense but I think if Em were to release that album, it'd have been rated so much lower than it is rn. It's def better than Revival, contentwise, production wise but as much as Revival is underrated and overhated, kendrick's album is kinda boring and lacks replay value even though many fans of his would never admit it...
Jul 29, 2024 Na its a dogshit album and most people outside of Kendrick fans agree. It's not hard to be truthful. I enjoy S80, GKMC is a fantastic album. d---, I really only like 5 songs or so, but the rest is listenable. You couldn't pay me to go back and listen to MMATBS. ITS THAT BAD
Jul 29, 2024 To me, it has a lot of replay value. The first part has some bangers and I like the sorta warm sound of the second part. It's an easy listen to me, I just like to come back to it. The album gives me a feeling of musical comfort. I skip We Cry Together and Purple Hearts though. The former was good for just a couple of listens and the latter is just terrible.
