Jul 31, 2024 Do people seriously think AI wasn’t used? I mean…come on guys. It’s obvious he used some sort of de-aging technique or whatever. We’re not saying he used AI to write and actually rap, just to alter his voice on certain parts. For example, on Lucifer: Current Em’s voice: “So it's breakfast in bed if I wake up next to a dead body” Then straight into the de-aged/AI/altered ‘shady’ voice: “Multiple lacerations, contusions, abrasions, bruises Hallucinations, delusions, abusive, my language usage They lose it when Dre produced it, as soon as he plays the music It's lunacy, treat the beat like a choice, Shady chews it” …then back to current Em’s voice: “Now all I see is dollar signs, losers b----, I was in them trenches like them Columbine shooters” Before the alteration, this would’ve all been done in his current voice. If you’re suggesting that he’s just putting on that ‘Shady’ voice then I think you’re underestimating the difficulty/near impossibility of that, especially when rapping at such a high level. Also, another indicator is that it’s not flawless & consistent throughout the album. There are a few parts where it sounds quite digitally altered

Jul 31, 2024 He used to be and chooses not to because he focuses on writing intricate rhyme schemes at the cost of the sound. He doesn't even care about hooks any more. But he has never been a good writer in the way Kendrick is to pull off a concept album where all the elements resonate with each other.

Like, how many hits does he need... he's already had Houdini from the album, perfect lead single, big single... should just focus on maximising the era now artistically.
