Aug 2, 2024 That's wild you got MTBMB so low. To each either own though. He was rapping his a--- off on that album. Production Prestige as well.
Aug 2, 2024 I agree he's rapping great, and is one of his best-produced albums - but there are too many blatant skips for me (One of Those Kinda Nights, In Too Deep, and Farewell are some of my least favorite Eminem songs period), other songs like Marsh, Little Engine, Unaccommodating, No Regrets are just mid IMO (he's rapping good, but I don't find much replay value once you've caught all the bars as the delivery isn't all that fun or memorable, same problem on Side B, his rapping is technically proficient but the monotone delivery just makes it boring (I think he took the "stop screaming" criticisms too far) compared to TDOSS where the delivery and voice inflections make the project way more fun to return to.
Aug 2, 2024 Exactly this right here. I think he's struck gold with the idea of the old him commenting on current events while the "new" Em is the mature voice. This would continue to stretch him creatively and would be a dope concept to explore further.
Aug 2, 2024 Eminem fans be like "He finally did something creative, he should also run this idea into the ground as well so we can all hate it in 5 years"
Aug 2, 2024 Let me ask the die hard kendrick fans… asap’s new song is aight even tho we didn’t need that random b---- singing at the end lol But do y’all think asap’s a b---- for not saying drake’s name at all? Drake literally said his government name on his diss lmaoooo
Aug 2, 2024 Funny thing is is that ASAP could probably dismantle Drake since he has Rihanna on his side. Imagine Asap ft Rihanna on a track dissing Drake Marsh be like
Aug 2, 2024 I haven't heard the song but it depends on execution, I much much prefer name dropping but I liked Gambino's Drake diss on his new album and he doesn't say Drake's name once even though it's obvious who he's talking about. But I feel like Drake saying your name first gives you full reign to be as direct as possible. And I like the bluntness of people like Kendrick and Jpegmafia just letting it rip
